For over 30 years I have enjoyed guiding a variety of guests to London and the U.K for private tours of anything from one day to two weeks within the British Isles and Ireland. I enjoy guiding families of mixed ages from Grandparents to their grandchildren with a variety of interests. Many of the extended tours that I have escorted have had different themes such as farming, industrial architecture, stately homes and gardens, ancient history, geology, landscape , natural history and bird watching. I also have a particular interest in theatre, as I started my career as a professional ballet dancer before training and qualifying as a London Blue Badge Guide. Between 1992 and 2002 I ran my own Tour company called International Voyages Ltd. involved with the planning and operating of tours and shore excursions for groups and individuals arriving on cruise ships to various ports in Britain. So I have extensive knowledge in planning tours as well as escorting them. I have also worked with Meetings and Events throughout Europe running Conferences and Events in Monte Carlo, Barcelona, Istanbul, Madrid, Florence and Paris. As a resident of London for most of my life I enjoy taking visitors to places off the beaten track that they might not find themselves, as well as specialising in garden tours within easy reach of the capital. I am a tutor on the training course for Blue Badge Guides teaching the skills required for guiding on motor coaches and also within Westminster Abbey, so I have to keep really up to date with my information.
