*Covid Update*
Like many of you, we went into Lockdown towards the end of March. Rather than sitting at home polishing up a shiny badges waiting for visitors who were never going to arrive, we decided to bring London to the world offering online virtual tours. Not really having much experience of using either PowerPoint or Zoom I realised that we had to adapt very quickly. I can now offer a program of nearly 20 different London themed virtual tours,
A virtual tour will never replace the real thing but in these Covid times with travel restrictions in place and visits to Museums difficult, a virtual tour will certainly be a good temporary addition. On a virtual tour we can show you the most incredible detail that you would never be able to see with the human eye in the real world.
If you’re missing London or had a trip that was cancelled, or are thinking thinking of bringing a group at some point in the future, why not let us give you a little taster of what’s to come. One of the great advantages of a Virtual Tour is that you can have unlimited numbers of people watching, hell why not invite the whole school!!!! See you on the virtual Road.
I was born and bred in London and have lived here all his life apart from a year travelling the world in my 20’s.
My professional life began working as a stage manager, followed by 15 years as a Tour Manager leading tours of the UK, Ireland and Europe, the USA, Canada, New Zealand and The Middle and Far East.
I qualified as a London Blue Badge Guide in 2011 and was honoured to receive the award for Best Overall Practical Guide.
I loves the theatre and tried to attend as often as possible and i am usually ahead of the game when it comes to recommendations.
I am a keen cyclist and love the outdoors and walking and believe the best way to see a city is on foot.
I am particularly good at working with children and can usually keep them engaged and entertained. I have a range of bespoke, fun trails and hunts at places like the British Museum.
I can offer walks on a wide range of themes including Royal London and a visit to Westminster Abbey, the graffiti and street art of Spitalfields and Shoredtch, The Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park (Iwas one of the 70,000 volunteers on the 2012 Olympic Games), sexy Soho, theatrical Covent Garden or even the London of Jack the Ripper.
I can organise a full day itinerary helping you save time, effort and money and show you the city using a combination of walking, public transport (excellent in London) and taxis.
Should you prefer it, i can also arrange a private car and driver for the day.
