Maurizio Patti
I was born in Cortona (Arezzo, Italy). I qualified as Interpreter and Translator in Trieste and I read Foreign Languages and Visual Arts at the University of Siena. I came to London in 1990, after living in Spain (Madrid and Valencia) and Germany (Cologne). I became a Blue Badge London Guide in 1997. I got a degree in Philosophy and Theology in London. I am an examiner and guide trainer for the Institute of Tourist Guiding London. My main interest is guiding in Galleries and Museums (National Gallery, British Museum, Victoria and Albert Museum). I work as an Art Expert for Tate Britain and Tate Modern. Since 1997 I qualified as a guide for the City of London, Somerset House, the Houses of Parliament, York/Canterbury/Salisbury Cathedrals, City of Cambridge,2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, South East England, South West England. It may sound a dry list but I can guarantee my passion for my profession and my eagerness to communicate it to my visitors. I will always do my best to make them experience a memorable staying, informative and entertaining.
