John Sheahan
Qualified Blue Badge Tourist Guide
Qualified Fáilte Ireland Tourist Guide
Originally from Ireland I've lived in this great city for the last twenty years and I am very honoured to call it home. Over the years I have continuously been fascinated by the hidden stories that lie behind the buildings, the churches, and the little laneways.
As a trained actor I have always held a great love of stories and as a guide I get incredible enjoyment from being given the opportunity to take people around these streets and introduce them to a world they may never have known existed.
From the wondrous and magical objects of the British Museum, the great Dome of St Paul's Cathedral, along the river Thames to the green of Greenwich, the fascinating history of Westminster Abbey and much, much more.
Particular interests include Theatre and the West End, the literature of London, the galleries such as the National Gallery and the Wallace Collection, Oxford, and not to forget the world of luxury and its great department stores!
But most of all a tour is about you, so please let me know what would interest you most in this extraordinary city and I would be delighted to be your guide.
