I specialize in:
Highlight and in-depth tours of Westminster Abbey, St Paul's Cathedral, Tower of London, National Gallery, V&A Museum, Tate Britain, British Museum, National Gallery, the Petrie Museum, Leighton House, Kensington Palace, Churchill War Rooms, Kew Gardens, etc.
Walking tours of the City of London, Westminster, Greenwich World Heritage Site, Chelsea, Kensington, Southwark and the South Bank, Covent Garden, Docklands and Canary Wharf, St James's.
Themed tours such as Legal London, Literary London, architectural tours, garden tours, Jane Austen, etc.
Beyond London, I love visiting Winchester, Windsor, Hampton Court Palace, Bath, Oxford, Stratford upon Avon, the Cotswolds, Salisbury, Stonehenge, and Canterbury. My Jane Austen tour to Steventon, Chawton, Winchester and/or Bath is popular.
Tour managing faith-based and religious heritage tours. Shore excursions for the cruise industry out of London, Southampton and Portsmouth.
Extended tours of the south-central area of England, including the Jurassic Coast, Dorset, the New Forest, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. Garden tours. Avebury, Bovington Tank Museum.
Before becoming a London guide, I was a teacher, an RAF officer and a research linguist for a faith-based organization. I hold Postgraduate Diplomas in African Studies and Charity Management. I’ve always been passionately interested in interpreting British culture and history and enjoy working with visitors from all over the world.
I have a very wide range of interests and am happy to arrange bespoke tours, on foot or using public or private transport, to meet your particular needs.
