I qualified as a London Blue Badge Guide in 1999. My mother tongue is English, but I am also qualified to guide in German. Since qualifying as a Blue Badge Guide, I have had a variety of work and have guided many groups of both schoolchildren and adults around England and Europe. I very much enjoy my work as a Tour Guide and get great pleasure in informing my visitors about the history, pageantry and ever changing skyline of London, whether it be on a coach or on foot.
I am equally happy to escort groups on days out of London, visiting attractions such as Windsor, Stratford, Oxford, Stonehenge and Bath. Having also worked as a Tour Manager for various travel companies, I am experienced in managing extended tours around Great Britain and Europe.
In 2004 I also qualified as a Cambridge Blue Badge Guide and very much enjoy escorting groups around this beautiful University city.
Before qualifying as a Blue Badge Guide I lived in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Oxford and London and worked in many roles within the hospitality trade.
