A London Blue Badge Guide for over 30 years, I enjoy working with all nationalities, both English and French speaking.
As a qualified and experienced teacher, I particularly love working with families and young people when I hope to bring our history and culture alive for everyone!
My particular interests include Westminster Abbey, Parliament, politics and law.I enjoy taking visitors on tours of Westminster,Royal London,Legal London including the Royal Courts of Justice,Docklands and the Olympic Park
The Tower of London,St Paul's Cathedral,Westminster Abbey the V&A , British Museum and Windsor Castle are all favourites
Visits to my home county of Kent are always a delight where as a Southeast Blue Badge Guide I show people our beautiful countryside.
Historical, literary and religious tours include visits to Canterbury, Dover, Rochester and Rye . There are so many possibilities with connections from Charles Dickens to Churchill or the vast array of magnificent gardens, castles and charming villages the county has to offer.
I am currently Joint Course Director for trainee guides at London training .
I am an Institute of Tourist Guiding accredited trainer and examiner.
