Andrew Rayner
Having grown up in a zoo and then a stately home - both long stories! - I’ve always had a passion for sharing my love of fascinating places.
I’ve been a Londoner for over 25 years, but the city still feels fresh and exciting to me.
I will help make your trip to London truly memorable. I want to ensure you make the most of your precious time here, so let me know your travel passions and I can create a totally bespoke tour for you.
I will give you an insider’s view of the city while making sure you capture classic photos of famous sites, to share with your friends and families at home.
I can help you explore world famous sites such as:
- The Tower of London – home to the Crown Jewels and a place of royal executions.
- Westminster Abbey – the location of over 39 coronations through the centuries as well as royal funerals and weddings.
- St Paul’s Cathedral - Sir Christopher Wren’s masterpiece and the burial place of British heroes such as Admiral Lord Nelson and the Duke of Wellington.
And then there are great museums and galleries:
- The National Gallery home to over 3,000 European paintings including masterpieces such as The Fighting Temeraire by JMW Turner, and Sunflowers by Van Gogh.
- The British Museum which is packed full of many of the world’s greatest artefacts. I can show you some of the key items and bring these objects to life.
Or exploring off the beaten path:
- East London - I would love to introduce you to this dynamic and undiscovered side of London. Sharing the story of the many waves of immigration which have helped to shape the London we see today.
If you would like to explore further afield then we could visit some of Britian’s other great towns and cities such as Oxford, Bath, Stratford upon Avon or Canterbury.
Before guiding I had a career as a Marketing Director across international travel, restaurant and cinema brands, and so I understand the power of storytelling to bring ideas to life.
I look forward to exploring this truly spectacular city with you.
