Born in China, I have resided in the United Kingdom since the age of 19. My academic background was media studies, both in my undergraduate and master’s degrees.
After two decades in the UK, I have cultivated a unique identity that reflects the harmonious blend of British and Chinese cultures. I have dedicated my career to becoming a professional Blue Badge tourist guide, enabling me to showcase the finest aspects of the UK to my guests. By tailoring my approach to their preferences and ensuring a comfortable and engaging experience, I strive to leave a lasting impression.
My guiding journey started in 2008, initially as a summer job that blossomed into a passion. I have had the privilege of working with diverse groups, including general tourists, corporate clients, business groups, and VIP groups, school groups, small family groups, etc.
My guiding style is characterised by a relaxed and conversational approach. I believe in presenting information in an engaging manner that allows guests to actively absorb and retain the knowledge. By adapting my style to meet the specific needs of each client, I aim to deliver exceptional experiences and leave a lasting positive impression.
I am honoured to have received the “Best Speech” award during my graduation ceremony. My colleagues have consistently praised my ability to captivate audiences with my engaging presentations. I have honed my skills in both English and Mandarin, enabling me to cater to a diverse clientele.
