I’m Ric and I offer friendly, thoughtful and professional guiding services in London and South East England.
I have three Blue Badges in tourist guiding: Southern England (2001), South East England (2015) and London (2021). I have a background in English language teaching and voice coaching, and I have a degree in Classical Studies and a Masters in English Language Teaching.
Some of the tours I can offer include:
- The must-sees: Westminster Abbey, St Paul’s Cathedral, Tower of London, British Museum, National Gallery.
- Rock Music History: including key sites associated with the Beatles, Rolling Stones, The Who, David Bowie, Elton John.
- Neighbourhood walks: including bohemian Soho, intellectual Bloomsbury, historic City.
- Day trips out of London: including the colourful seaside city of Brighton, countryside hikes and Stonehenge.
I also specialise in LGBTQ-themed history walks in London and Brighton and have been featured in Condé Nast Traveller, The Telegraph and Time Out.
