Paul Johnson
After obtaining a degree in History I taught English both at home and abroad , then qualified as a London guide in 1986 . I am a Londoner by birth and have lived most of my life here . After working for 30 years as a guide I hope to put across to groups my enthusiasm for my native city . Among my many interests are sport and politics . I guided groups at the All England Club and the Palace of Westminster throughout the year , but now wish to concentrate on historic sites and museums . There are a number of walking tours I enjoy doing , including the London of Charles Dickens ,Sherlock Holmes and Jack the Ripper .. Let me introduce you to this fascinating city .
